How are you finding them Mic?

The thing that really ticks me off about PW is that they are laying the blame of problems with Canon and that Canon flashes produce RF interference.

Hello? PWs are a third party product supposed to work with existing Canon products - if they don't work as advertised it isn't Canon's fault. PW should have tested much more thoroughly and when the RF issue came to light should have modified their product to work as claimed.

It is hard to believe that they produced a product that works in certain situations. Makes you wonder if they had 20 580EXII that happens to be noiseless.

I would be going crazy over their testing/quality control department if this happened.

I read on their flickr forum that they had 12 flash units in total for their testing (whether that's accurate or not I don't know). If it's true it smacks of poor quality control.

Hi all, back after an afternoon of PC downtime. Started off as a simple reinstall, then the SSD caused the SATA AHCI BIOS to crash, so I figured it'd be a good op for me to restore back to a non-beta firmware version - which had to be done in Windows  so I had to re-partition my storage drive, install Windows on that, downgrade the firmware, remove that partition, then install Windows.

SO, in short, a half-hour procedure took about four hours.

Is it me or do they only back burn during the weekends when people are spending their time out. Was driving to Brookvale this afternoon and saw smoke plumetting north west.

in their defence, they probably have better volunteer availability on weekends. I don't agree with the idea though.

And no, I missed it. I've been stuck inside feeling **** the last couple off days
