Hey Damo,

We'll have to plan a POTN inaugural up John's way. Crabs and photography!;)

Anyhoo, back to the shot and an observation based from John's comment. Some of the most uncomfortable poses I've seen really do highlight some wonderful aspects of the female form. The pose here has brought out a gorgeous and subtle arc in her body and a gentle rise in her bust. Her head position I would have altered though. She's on the cusp of having a furrowed brow from having to look too far up with her eyes.

All in all you've taken a good shot that needs a little more brightness in PP. Your lighting, composition and a lovely model have given you leeway that aids us in seeing past a few imperfections.

:)

And for everyone else, do we have any Photo5 finalists here?

Not me, i only managed to upload one pic, and that took two days.. next year, shoot early. load early!

MMMMMM, mud crabs and usuing someone else's camera after covering fingers in crab juice!;):p

Thanks for the comments Al, appreciate them all. Got a lot to process but could have been more except for the thunderstorm, the mosquitoes, the eel that splashed out of the water near her and the huntsman exoskeleton that kept drifting past her and coming back with the wind, that was freaky!:D

Sharna, the dawn beach shoot, white dress, has picked out her favs from the shoot, 87 from 200 frames....HELP lol, I will do up 5-10 for her to the best I can do, the rest she can pay per pic for processing. I will post a set in the G&N when I am done as her chest became visible thru the white material:o.

Oh man wasn't it an abortion! I really lost a lot of interest after the first attempt to upload and didn't bother completing more than three.

My 10 year-old is heartbroken. Richo was his idol.

Edit: his mum's a bit shattered too

Mmmm, it's for the best - his body couldn't hack it, and that was all she wrote. (Not me though, I wrote five stories...)

I love him as much as anyone - hell, I ghosted his columns for the site this year - but when it's over, it's over. The smart ones go when they should.

I was going to take my camera, but figured that SPG would be there, and do a good job (which they did).

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

Yup, even the 10 year-old knew that it was really time for him to give it up.

Any chance of a good, non-copyright violating snap for a young fan ?

I just bought one for 800us from the FM forums, although i have someone bringing it back for me.

They go for about 850-900 normally, so maybe have a look there.
