Probably not... will be assessing my options - the timing is absolute crap with Christmas coming up. I've already put in for one job within the photographic industry.

My son turns 6 months today, going to have a bit of a BBQ with the family around. Plus an old friend from Canberra coming over so might be a few beers to be had tonight
And then sunday i think ill try and figure out a way to unwrap my 135L and replace it with a can of coke (similar weight and size)

It's my nephew's first birthday today as well Going to be a big day because there'll be so many people there wanting to see him

You could print off the 135L's barrel and wrap it around a can, then replace?

All this really achieves is the increased risk of fire. The light is still coming from the same sized source, and that's what counts. You just make it work harder.

Oops. I never even thought of that. I'll try and figure out something better if I need it again.

I was planning on some Christmas presents for myself (PW Flexs and Einstein 640) but I will have to put that on hold as I've just been informed that I'm out of a job as the place I was working is downsizing.

Best example I ever saw of this was a bloke using a stofen, with the flashhead on a 45deg angle, outside. I think he was looking for a bit of fill off some cloud.

Yup, Phenoxymethylpenicilli​n. Sounds potent.. tastes.. ergh. Some codeine might be nice before I head out to the shops with my folks. We are buying holiday stuff.. this will be painful.

A lot of people seem to be getting sick at the moment. Both my doctor and the chemist said they had been really busy over the last week with people having headcolds and sore throats. Guess it might have something to do with the extremes in weather.

At least you found out before you'd made the purchase - last time my contract wasn't renewed, I'd just (that very day) bought two new 580exIIs and an iPhone 32Gb 3GS outright - $2300 all up and then get told.

Yeah, timing can be a PITA - we moved into this new apartment, spent $15K to paint it and put the bamboo floors right through (100 per cent correct decision), and then the MX5 needed an engine replacement. $3200. Again, we had the reserves, but it ate most of them up, and we still had a heap of stuff to get/do,as you do when you move. Frustrating.
