Finding out the sale price of a second hand camera that has been superseeded many times by new products from the OM is like asking what a 30D is worth now...

Hang in there Richard... it still might be salvagable.

@ Mondo, I wish, I had a sip of beer about an hour into the wedding, put the pale ale down, came back to it an hour, TROPICAL TEPID... gotta love 35 deg heat and 100% humidity.

Long story, took the fourbie instead of the GS 1200, had fun but all too short, Gotta go back up for a longer gecko around

Shame Damo, not a bad thing though, nothing worse than the missus complaining.

A poor mate got one of those. I told him to go a used D300 or a D90, NOTHING LESS.
He ended up with a slow as kit lens too.

Damn sales guys.

Hey guys,

I hate to brag about my equipment on a public forum. It's one of the reasons I don't have a gear list.

I could be wrong, but I think he meant an old Canon D60. :)

Thanks for the PM Al. Great buy, that's all I have to say!

Bugger :-(

Is this the drive that shut down halfway through the transfer?

Nope - it's my main photo drive. When I was in the disk management system I mistakenly tried to format instead of the drive that crashed.

I've taken the drive into a recovery place to see if they can recover usable files. I spoke to another one before them and when I told him about the recovered files not being readable I was told it doesn't look good.

Al, you'll love the 1D2 as soon as you get it. It's amazing.

Hope something works soon, Richard :( Terrible luck.
