It could've been a nicer afternoon, a bit of colour wouldn't have gone astray!

Doesn't work for me really Phil. All a bit grey and the black bars don't help.

Sorry if that's harsh.

f/25 and ISO 50, interesting :p Nice shot but shooting at ISO 100 and with a bit of PP to bring up certain parts of the image may have worked better, while keeping the mood that it has currently, which I don't mind at all. I still like it.

Is it just me, or is the horizon out too ? Looks to be down on the RHS

Ok, black bars removed. Added a little bit of light to it all, and a bit more curves.

Nope, horizon should be pretty much spot on. It's looking across the Harbour, so there's a break through the middle of the shot which drops the right horizon a tad.

Thanks Juice, see above for horizon.

Edit: Maybe need to check that horizon now that I've taken a much closer look at it. lol

I preferred the original, and by a fair margin.

But I still think it's got a case of the tilts :-)

That's cool. It's still a great shot. Can't wait till I get something wider... I'm thinking I will go wide before I go 400/5.6L :p

Numero uno wins out. I like the tone and overall mood.
The emotion of the scene speaks more than any detail on this classic cityscape.

I feel like some sort of outcast troglodyte, not "getting" the mood , but I stand by the fact the horizon ain't straight. :p

First attempt at shooting a Model Car.

After some advice, light tent, off camera flash and a 1:18 model (rather than the initial 1:64)
