Also an excuse to get another stand and a superclamp.

It's an excuse to buy a boom!

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

No, easy access to the internet is the stupidest invention ever.

Hey guys, Looking for the cheapest place to buy a BG-E7, E-1 handstrap and an LP-E6 in Sydney.

Cheapest place so far is Camera Farm (external link) run by techbuy...
Canon BG-E7 Battery Grip - To Suit Canon 7D $284.30
Canon LPE6 Li-Ion Battery Pack to suit EOS 5DII $77.45
Canon HSE1 Hand Strap $48.05
for $409.80 pickup... Can anyone (non grey) best that?

Yeah, good crowd on AP and we seem to get together often. A lot of cross over between here and AP ie many people are on both.

So what's you excuse - if you are 3hrs behind it must still be o'dark o'clock in your neck of the woods.

Not very good at sleeping :p

Nice, particularly the first one..

Ah, the joy of lens-lust...

Here's another product shot, of the now-not-for-sale 40D.

Nice! see the other one now and very nice!

The 1D3 is amazing. For a non-pro, there's no reason to upgrade to the 1D4 when you can buy more quality lenses and equipment with the money.

Do you want L fast or just fast? Could get the 35/2 as a lightweight prime to go with your new lighting gear without spending a lot.

Yeah i want like 1.4 fast, which means too expensive..:p

Setup shot for the camera product shots.

As you can see from the lightstand leaning in to give the backlight, I really need a boom.

Or you could move your table so there is enough room for a lightstand behind it :p

Hey gays, the Markins Q3 arrived. Still waiting on the camera plate, but the head itself seems pretty solid (except for the main knob, which appears to have a little play although I'm told that's normal).

What the.. pendulum15 is dead? :(

jonoxplor, I'd just buy grey for those things.

If you become a fan of "mic cullen photography" on FB, you can see a new one on yer wall each day! :-)

Speaking of which, I walked up the street with my new boarder for a week - Cha's cousin is here so I was showing him where stuff is around the place, thanks Cha for heading back to Perth for a funeral for the ENTIRE WEEK - and forgot the camera, and saw a GREAT shot, with a bloke eating lunch at a café with his dog sitting next to him. There was my shot for the day :-(

Or you could move your table so there is enough room for a lightstand behind it :p

A production. And I need the boom for the BD :-)

Did anyone go to Sydfest and take some photo's? I went and took my camera but i didn't take many photo's of anything other than friends...

Also just got a message from my sister in Fiji.. she was swinging her olympus tough camera around in fiji, strap broke, it fell of the balcony.. Turns out "tough" cameras aren't so tough.

There's limits to how stupid you can allow for people to be.
