Well, I just got off the phone with my sister and it isn't gas.

Looks like he's flying down in the next couple of days and my sister is wrangling her contacts for a good specialist.

Oh Rai, number 2 is classic head shot and number 1 has a great back light. Soft and full of detail. Nice.

Missed this.

Hope all goes as best it can and for a speed recovery, Al.

Congrats to you Glenn...you must be over the moon. What are you studying?
My son also got into Swinburne to study IT Networking & Security but is deferring for this year. He just scored a full time job in a computer shop fixing computers and the experience is too good to pass up.

Thanks :) I am pretty happy. At first I was a bit worried about it not being right for me but I'm good now. Multimedia - Media Studies is the course so it's a good mix of practical and theory by the looks of it :)

Congrats to your son! I'd say he did the right decision with the full time job and deferment. If I was in a similar position then I probably would have done the same thing because the experience amongst the rest of the benefits (money in the short term, real world full time job, etc) is, as you said, too good to pass up. Hope he has a great future ahead of him with the job and the course.

So, ground pass for the Australian Open tomorrow. Gonna bring a camera and one, maybe two lenses.

5D Mark II (the 1D won't fit in my Urban Disguise 35 :p)
One flash
PocketWizard x2

Lens/es: 70-200? 24-70? Both? Would rather leave it as just one lens.

Basically I am taking my camera to take a group shot of the people at work so I am thinking the 70-200 might be just a bit too long for a group shot... but stand far back enough and I'll be fine :)

@ Dave....wow and wow again!

Thanks Damo :) I don't do a lot of bikini work, so I'm glad I managed a couple of decent shots.

That's super, Dave.

Thanks Mic, on both counts ;-)a

Here's some "tax" ...a couple from my last shoot. The second shot was seconds before the heavens opened up and drenched us... we were out in a rainforest a mile away from the cars with $$$$ of gear, dresses and all strewn everywhere which made it fun!

Ah fun times indeed. Digging the catchlights in the second one - they look like she's staring into a tunnel with a light at the end.

Oh bugger. That's not the news we were all hoping for Al. Here's hoping a specialist can come through with the goods for him.
