I have my 40d and 400mm f5.6 now since july and i really have to say that it is like heaven compared to the panasonic dmc-fz7 i had before!

PS. sorry for my english but i'm dutch and 17:D

I really like the first one of the tailfeather pruning. Great capture on that. Have you tried any saturation hikes on it? A little more yellow and blue might help an already fantastic shot.

Nice shots---like the activity in the first photo---very nice. I also really like the moon shot.

Thank you for you comments! and i think i was approximately 4 meters away from both the birds.
The first photo was shot in my backyard and i was already wating for an hour for some birds to come close enough to photograph. And there is a tree standing really close to the window and i was thinking: "well it would be really nice if a bird would come and sit on that tree. But that is never going to happen." And than 5 seconds later the Blue Tit came and he was sitting there in that tree.
