Looks very good Ron. Was that with a flash above as well or just the belt drive?

This was hung from the belt only.

Smart, I like it! Please let us know if it works or if it'll keep flopping backwards and flash your legs. ;) If it works, that'll be the ticket for me!

Just to revisit my earlier question:
Do you guys shoot single-shot or burst?
I have a battery pack for my 580 EX II. Would that allow me 2-3 shot bursts?

brilliant! a simple velcro strap will hold it right there too. I think I may try that out in addition to having one above. Might allow for just slightly lower ISO too which should keep things fairly clean.

I like all the ideas y'all have come up with. I've been using the superclamp on my monopod but it adds additional weight. Heck I'm wore out by the end of the first half! :-( I think for this week I'm going to switch back to my pvc "t" contraption. That thing worked well for me in 2008.

I think most of you have seen it but if not, here it is again.

Is there an emote for tear? That pvc contraption brings a tear to my eye from it's beauty!

Also, cannonoob, which version of the cybersyncs are you using? I have an opteka cord, but am thinking about a trigger due to the cord and I want them for other things too.

Thanks!
