This was taken by my 6 year old son. It could use some adjustments but this is how it came out of the S500, with a 4x6 crop.

Number 1 too dark for my liking. Number 2 is neat. I like the splash of color and the clear blue sky. But you just changed these? I liked the sky, building, and tree shot you just had up. I looked, went away to think about it, came back to something else.....

Edit: Sorry, I just noticed it's two posts, both from Eastman house. I'll go post my comments about that picture over there.....:o

Nop, nothing changed. Might have been the other Eatman post with pics I took myself.

I agree, with you on the first one. I think I could rescue some of the shadow details and bump up the exposure. I just haven't had time to sit with my son to do it. He took the pics. He's six now, so I think I'll let him drive, with me showing him where the dialog boxes are and what the sliders do. I'd like him to see what influence he can have and have the sense of "I did it!" like I get when I get a good result from pp. Number 2 just plain florred me when I downloaded the card. We talked about a crop, but he said, "No way!" Can't argue with the boss.
