Just purchased a used 5D with 17-40L. And since I am an average citizen, I have to to sell one or both :

10-22 / 17-55
(I want to keep toki 10-17 fisheye and siggie 30.14)

What do I shoot? Just almost anything... where I am right now (Baghdad), there is not much photo op anyway. So mostly when I go on vacation - I take pictures of my 2 dogs and scenery of EU. :)

Thoughts pls.

Since you have a 5D it seems simple to me. Sell the 10-22 since you have that focal range covered with your other lenses

I may be wrong but the 10-22 is an EF-S lens and won't work on the 5D. That fact makes the decision a little easier!

10-22 / 17-55 <--- Both EF-s, and can't be used w/ the 5D.

But I assume he has kept the other equipment in his gear list (see below) so he will be able to use EF-S lenses.

Agreed. That's why I specified "w/ the 5D"... ;)

If it were me and I was going to keep the crop bodies and get rid of one lens it would be the 17-55.
