A break in the drought

I recently went to San Antonio for a photowalk vacation. I was told that they had been having a bad drought, so with my luck, it ended up raining off and on thru my whole trip. Here's a couple of shots I was able to take in between showers. C&C always appreciated.

I think I might like to see the green leaf in B&W too..hmm

Thank you so much! I have a few different versions of the first shot, but I liked that one the best.

I like your 1st B/W version of the chair and table best. That is a great image with a lot of very interesting textures, angles, and movement. The best image of the bunch IMO.

For the color image #2 the problem I have is there is not enough separation between the subject and background so something that may add additional isolation is to mask the background and desaturate the color to the point where it approaches grey scale. You can also change the contrast while you're at it. This will in turn make the subject pop graphically.
