So I just pulled my 24L out of my bag and found that the AF/MF switch has popped off and was dangling by the orange cable attached to the switch. The cable connects at two points and one of the connections is broken.

Has anyone had this happen before? Just wondering what the cost to repair this might run. Seems like it might not be too horrible since the glass is fine etc. I have not attempted to use the lens and probably wont. But I am curious to know if it would still work. Seems like I just wouldn't be able to switch to MF since it is set to AF.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Does it work? I'll bet it does. A little super glue or duct tape and you should be OK -(a joke.)
