This was my first real time taking a crack at this, C&C appreciated!

I like the last three. I'd crop down halfway into the blue in the last one.

Thanks, due to the resolution my friend wanted, i didn't crop.

There is NO law that says that you have to crop to the papers aspect ratio? Crop to get the image you want & then cut a mat to fill in the space between the image & the frame.
Or, if they aren't going to frame it, just put black over the extra image. A longer crop makes the car look longer, too.

I know there is no law...its what he wanted to fill up his 32 inch monitor.

I used 2 white shoot-thru umbrellas.

Canon 40D (Hopefully 1ds for Xmas! :rolleyes:)
Yeh I have a camera and I bolt lenses on from time to time and make clicky noises... sometimes things turn out other times... sh*t happens! :-)

first-2 bare flashes about ten feet away diagonal to the corners of the car, and about 7 feet high pointed at the front fender and rear quarter.

second-2 flashes shot thru white umbrellas about 6 feet away from the car and 6 feet high.

I shoot all manual.
