When it comes to video I have definitely got more enthusiasm than talent, so pardon me if I get the lingo wrong :)

I'm looking for mounting rails for the HF100. I've seen some very nice setups where people have this rail underneath the HF100 (if that is the right word) to attach accessories to. It's not the cheesy little $10 bracket that sticks out to the right or left, it's a very solid looking metal rail that runs from the front to the back of the camcorder.

Any advice in this direction would be good. I would at least need to stick one medium sized shotgun mike and one light on my HF100. That's the nice thing about small pro camcorders like the GL2 and XH-A1, they have a frame big enough to hang numerous accessories from.

Also, how is the HF S100 (the 2009 model) compared to the HF100?
