Seems you have a lot of rain around there Marie !
Even with that rain I would love to visit Ireland ( I guess I was an Irish in another life 'cause I think this is the only explanation for how much I like Irish music ! :):):) )

Nice shot Marie

hell was full so I came back.

thank you all, Sandy ,Lonnie and Hollow
and Dan
I added the rain ( in ps) but it was actually raining ever so lightly just then , even though there is none on the ground it came down in torrents just after the shot was taken. a cloudburst
it flooded the place ...almost.
then the sun shone again as though it never went in
they are like April showers in May

Nice shot Marie

and Sandy
I never really replied to all your remarks in this post, sorry
that sometimes happens when I put my reply on a 'one post reply to all'
(to try and not have too many 'counts' )

and then when I realised that I hadn't I didn't want to bring the post up again

but still want to reply

Hollow, glad you like the Irish music so much
my dad played violin in the Austin Stack Ceilé Band many years ago
Irish music at it's best at the time
they were on radio sometimes
and there are old records of them around somewhere.
I have them on tape copied from radio but the quality is very bad
so not worth talking about. still, it's my dad

he could play the violin behind his back if asked
(DUPLICATE IMAGE)

wonderful
many thanks for saying. he would like that if he were alive

Sandy, I am not sure if the John Deere tractors are over here
I love the sight of any of them
(DUPLICATE IMAGE)

thanks again

Marie in your post tractor in a jam
That is a John Deere tractor. Unmistakable. from the John Deere green right down to the deer emblem on the grill.

I will watch out for that deer emblem in future and let you know if I see any.
there are a lot of tractors around here but I am not always real close to them when they are 'moving'

I keep the dog out of their way.
she chases anything like it out on the plains

What stands out for me is the phone booth and its reflection almost framing the shot, the fact that there is no umbrella, and that she is carrying her sunglasses in her hand as if it were sunny just a few minutes earlier. The addition of the rain is really creative. You seem to consistently take such meaningful photos that really say something. Great work!
