Help with ring shot

Hi everybody I'm trying to decide which one of these ring shots I like better any help deciding would be really appreciated thanks so much.

Honestly, lower your camera and shoot from either the same height as the ring or just slightly above it.

The focus seems to be better for the ring on the first photo, and the focus seems to be more on the flower on the second. Personally I would use LightRoom to increase the exposure on the first photo by 1/2 to 1 stop and use that.

As an alternative to a rose I would purchase a few NICE ring displays and use them for the ring shots, but then being a jeweler I would tend to think this way. IF you know a local jeweler you might consider talking to them about getting you a few display units to use as props. White leather would look nice.

If I had to pick between these it would be number 2, although that highlight is distracting and the shadow in the lower right corner could be brightened or cropped out. I much prefer the color in #2.

I vote for seeing the first one with a brighter exposure. The second looks a little flashy.
