Went to the Charlie Russell National Wildlife Refuge last week to view the rut. This bull came out about 5:30 pm in the golden light. Stood around bugling, feeding, and the laid around for awhile. Got up about sunset sniffed the air and was off like a rocket over to the cows about 600 yards away in the trees. There were about 100 head with some other bulls, but to late to get any shots. Going back tomorrow for 3 days. Hope to see some Big Ones.

Beauty of a shot there Duane.

And he's a magnificent, symmetrical bull. Great work.

Matt.

Thanks. Am leaving to go back for 3 days today. Was told might see a 7x7 or maybe 8x8. There have been some in past years.
