I've got the Live View Function Settings grid display set to on, but it's not showing. Any ideas?

Any ideas? 1DMkIII, 40D, 580EXII, 70-200f 2.8L, 24-70 2.8L, 50mm 1.8 and f2.5 macro, 10-22mm.
