This is Chelsi and she is quite outdoors girl, she would have chosen to have all of her pictures taken in the camo cap but her mom demanded different. C&C welcome

Very nice series, I bet she and her mom will enjoy those images. I like the b&w with her cap, looks so relaxed. Another fine job you have done here.

A bunch of equipment with Canon on it and some stuff with Sigma on it. The desire to capture a moment in time and share it with you! :)

the 3rd one is a picture of the dog though. lol oh well.
You live in Cali, right? Is there biz in senior portraits or is it just me who thinks that LA kids just go to the mall to take their shots?

It wasn't supposed to be a picture of the dog, but he walked into it. We had tried to get him in a few other shots and he refused to look at the camera so this one is a prize for her! lol
I live in Oregon. Is there a shortage of senior portrait business in LA? What do they get at the mall, one of those 1 hour portrait places?

Anything square to the camera will look wide in the resulting image, and if they are already wide, they will look even wider. :) Look at her hips in image # 1 and her entire body in # 2. A 45°turn will slenderize but only about 99.99% of the female of the species wants to look more slender. If you are photographing the other .0001% pose her flat to the camera!!!! :)

I like the last one the best, but a two second tug of her blouse would have eliminated those folds. IMHO it also needs some vignetting and the background needs to be burned down like below.

Benji.

I'm not hot on #1. Her pose looks awkward and uncomfortable - very rigid. And her face tone seems to blend in with the background.

#5 is the best since I don't care for wide field of view senior portraits, but a more traditional style.
