So I have a 1Ds, 5D, and 50D. I want them all, but my wife says I can keep one FF body :D I think I've settled on keeping the 5D. The 1Ds is really sexy, and the weathersealing/AF is cool, but I think I want a useable screen, better ISO, and faster electronics.

Still a hard choice.

Now I wonder, would it be a good idea to ditch my 50D and 5D for a 5D mk2? I would still have FF (which I love), but I get all the newness and speediness of a 5D mk2 along with all the rest.

Ideas? I think I've settled on the 5D for sure. Now I just need to decide if I want one more trade-up.

What do you primarily shoot? That would have a lot to do with whether you would want to drop your 50D from your lineup.

I say keep the 50d but i'm biased.Maybe get rid of the 1D and the 5D and buy a MKII or a 7D.

What a terrible situation for you to be in!! haha! :)

I am now living on baked beans on toast just so I could buy a 4 year old, scratched to buggery, second hand Canon 5D Mk I and just about managed to scrape a 24-70L as well. So if you fancy sending me one of your many camera bodies just let me know and I'll send you my address.

The joys of not being appreciated for the efforts you put in at work hey?!!

You could always keep the 3 bodies and get a new wife ;)

Sell the 1Ds, 5D and 50D. Buy a 7D.

Your wife will then become your singular FF body.

Keep the 5D. It's a classic! :)

Seriously, if I had to keep one camera, I'd keep my 5D2. I shoot pro, so I need 2-3 camera bodies. If you don't shoot pro, it's okay to have more than one. Did you explain that to her? Which one is your favorite? That's the one you should keep.

Lol, tell her you were mistaken and you have a FF, 1.3, and a 1.6.
