Hi,

I am looking to import some Singh Ray filters, has anyone from the UK done this? If anyone has i would like to know how long it took from the date of order, to receive the filter? Any other bits of info you want to throw in are also welcome, e.g. excellent customer care.......

I tried looking for a similar thread but couldnt find one, nor could i find an appropriate thread to piggy back.

Thanks in advance,

Regards, Andrew.

Hope you don't mind me adding to this, Andrew, but I would love this info too. Its a real shame they don't have a UK stockist as I was looking into purchasing a reverse grad at one point.

I'm from Australia, but I ordered a Gold-N-Blue polarizer and a reverse grad almost 5 weeks ago, and haven't received them yet.

However they have been good at answering emails, and their explanation was that the gold-n-blue filters are on back order.

You don't really have a choice if you are after a filter that Lee, Cokin, Hitech etc don't manufacture.

I can buy them and import them for ya Andrew. :) It's a shame Singh Ray hasn't outsourced in Europe to other vendors. It would definitely be convenient.

Assuming that you are not a Nigerian banker who recently acquired a check for a large sum of money, and require my help to cash it so that you can use the money to help a local orphanage, I'm willing to help with this.

I've ordered plenty of things through Singh-Ray and had a lot of success. I found that delivery was prompt, usually within a few days.

I never ordered anything that was backordered, so I can't speak about that.

Other options, if you're in doubt, would be to order through B&H. They don't have the entire Singh-Ray collection, but they're a far bigger company.
