I normally don't go out of my way to see birds, but saw others getting frame fillers of the Wheatear so I drove the 40 minutes to check it out. Dave

Fortunately or unfortunately the NJ Meadowlands area has a pretty high concentration of raptors, including a couple of Peregrines to go along with the typical Harriers, Coops, and Red Tails. I do feel bad for vagrant birds that seem out of place, but hopefully the Wheatear righted itself and is completing its fall journey to Africa. Dave
