I am probably sending my camera into Canon to get service and was wonder what I could expect for turnaround time. Really, just wondering how long I can expect to be without it.
Thanks!

Sent it to the Jersey location. They are fairly quick I think. "I once complained of having no shoes til I met a man who had no feet"

Well, ten days, average, for my last three services. But the worst of my problems was the Mirror transport replacement in a 5D. As soon as you say ten days, for sure, someone will complain that it took 11 days. Tell people less than two weeks and their happy point stretches out a bit. Canons to the left, Canons to the right,

I have decided to take advantage of the customer loyalty program today and called the number on the tracking web site and they say I can't make a deal yet because my camera has not been put into the system yet by the Jersey shop. I plan on calling the Jersey shop in the morning to see what is up. Did you go to the Canon web site for service and fill out the online forms before sending it in? They have a procedure to follow and always ask me to send it insured. Canons to the left, Canons to the right,

I think there is something wrong with my sensor...all my pictures come out looking like I shot them at 3200 ISO even when I shoot in 100 ISO. Very noisy and very unsharp. I'll let you know when I get it back. Gear
