Great! I've always loved burgundy. Now you just need to shape the brim correctly and you'll be lookin' fresh.

Neither Canon nor digital yet it found its way into the 'Canon Eos Digital Cameras' forum. ;)

Well, he has other gear, too. That looks like fun, but it's so expensive to develop the film. Are you sure that's what you intend to use?

SQ-A, got it from KEH for $345 total... Everything in "BGN" condition but is pretty much looking brand new. I don't mind the developing cost as I primarily shoot digital but film is a hobby of mine, and a local lab develops for like $3.98 a roll.

What'd you get? I ordered mine last Monday morning specifically to get it BY Friday... they shipped it Tuesday afternoon so I didn't get it until yesterday. :( Tracking numbers are the source of all evil (and apprehensiveness!).

I got a 5d. Talk about anxiety. I ordered it friday, you know, hoping that they'd ship it friday, so I could have my new toy as soon as possible. Not really any super important reason, but I just hate waiting!

So you'll be spending time at apug.org learning how to use it?

It's worth the wait, IMHO. :)

OP, so you don't plan on developing your own film? I've always wanted to get in to darkroom work, although having shot film for a long time, I never did get around to it.

Joseph, CONGRATS on your new (to you) Bronica SQa. ;)
That camera is built like a "Tank!"
Back in the day, that was my main camera for shooting weddings.
Did you know that if you can find a good metered prism for it, it can be used in aperture priority?
The mechanical "Speed Grip" was nice too.
Also, when shopping for more lenses, try and find the PS versions, as they were the latest of the line, and were pin sharp.
Also, They made a 645 back for it. It was geared and spaced for the 645 format, so you could get 15 shots from a roll of 120 film. ;)
Might be a bit tough to find one now though, as there weren't that many of them back then. I had one. :)
Enjoy.
-Bruce

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.
