Mirror Lock Up. Available now through menu options but it would be nice to just have a button for it.

Built in radio trigger. Pocket Wizard compatibility would be a plus, obviously.

most useful idea.

(with the caveat that the trigger be elinchrom compatible too. ;))

Why do I get the feeling we are collectively designing the camera equivalent of Homer's "car of the future" from the Simpsons?

IMG NOTICE: [NOT AN IMAGE URL, NOT RENDERED INLINE]

If canon included every feature than anybody could ever want, the camera would end up being a monstrosity that nobody wants.

Don't they have that now? I'm pretty sure my 50D does and I assume all the other live view bodies do too.

How about a 6 barrel gatling-gun style lens holder so you can rotate through lenses without having to touch the camera?

See, it is not even new tech! Should be easy. :)

Or maybe a swiss army knife style folding implementation to keep it compact.

I'd settle for more latitude - both more headroom and a lower noise floor. In other words, more dynamic range.

I'd also like to see some mechanism that would put a high-quality LCD in the viewfinder when engaged in movie mode so that you can hold the camera up to the head for stability. Not to replace the optical viewfinder in normal use, but to replace the rear LCD when shooting movies. It's a lot easier to hold the camera steady when it's up agains the head than when it's out away from the face.
