Football. monopod or tripod?

Would anyone like to recommend a monopod brand they favour?

^manfrotto and breno are what you will most likely hear the most of.. personally I use a manfrotto.

Hehehe yes. Ex. 7 backpack, Northface backpack with food, water and a jacket. Kinesis case with my 300 in it. My friend took that with his cell phone. I did catch this shot so it was worth it.

I'm only 22, but I find that it's just easier to use a monopod for football related shooting. It don't mind getting down on the ground to take my shots and just find it natural to have the monopod with me. Plus it gives me a spot for undercamera flash usage.
