My 10D I bought from Jason C came yesterday, so I took my three yer old out to the park and took a few pics of her. They are not my best, but my model wasnt always cooperative either (LOL). Like the 10D alot just trying to get used to it and getting things set where I like it. Also need to get a good walk around zoom lens with a constant aperture like the sigma 24-70 f/2.8 or the tammy 28-75 f/2.8. Any recommendations on which one would be better the siggy or the tammy?

Oh..the lovely 10d. Was my favorite camera thus far. If it were faster I would have kept it over all the rest that I've owned.

Is the 10D compatible with EF-S? I almost got one but I got a smokin' deal on a 20D kit for actually less money... :)

Good luck with your 10D! Even though I've gone the 5D route, I still have and use my 10D all the time. It may be an older model body but it's still a great camera!

Congrats on the 10D.

For a walk around, something wider might be better.

I own the Tammy 28-75 2.8 and like it a lot. Never tried the Sig so I can't compare the two.

So far, i've been very happy with my tamron. I've only had it for a few days but i always have a :-D when I use it. PLUS i don't want to buy an 82mm filter for the sigma.

I do like my Tamron. It's not as well built as the Tokina, but it's pretty good for the price. I was using the 35-80mm at first and then when I put the 17-50mm on it was such a difference and I liked the range better.

Congrats! That was my first DSLR and my son has it now. Loved it. You look like you are already using it well. Enjoy! And I have never put either of the lenses on that camera, only the 28-105 II and the 28-135.
