A little tighter crop and #3 is the real winner.

I'll leave the obvious issue to Frank though. ;)

Thanks

These flew over head so a rush to the lake, never shot planes before so I'm happy with them.

But any advice for next time would be great :D

Your shutter speeds are far too high. You've frozen the props which make the planes look as if they're about to fall out of the sky.

Drop it to at least 1/250 as a maximum. 1/125 or even slower would be better.

Coming from Landscape Photography when I first started the hobby, I'm partial towards 5 & 6. Both awesome!

^^^ You're welcome.

I love the "Panorama" crop you did. Keep it up, you'll only get better!

Agree, great shots except for the frozen props, which is a learning / remembering kind of thing. I often forget to knock it down for my first few shots at an event.

Hey Phenix3st

Thanks.

Yes I did, but I only had a 200mm and they were too far away, the crops are not very good.

I'll leave the obvious issue to Frank though.

Looks like you guys had it covered! Just for the record:
Airshow guys - prop freeze?

Potentially nice shots!

I wouldn't get too down about them. You were in the right place at the right time, had a camera & got the shots. I'm rather sure you could add prop blur with software if you wanted to.

Prop blur is nice but you might be able to fake it a little in post though.

However you were in the right place as stated above, I like the shots.
