Nice birds. 2ed for 5 & 7 very nice. 5 looks like it may be a Semipalmated Sandpiper.
Thanks both of you, and I agree tony, that's what I was thinking it is but wasn't totally sure.

Nice collection of shots, love the Zebra finch, I rescued one from the harbour one time when I was racing.
I thought these little buggers were pretty cool too. Being around people all day made them fairly tame and they certainly didn't mind cameras. The finch shot was taken with a buddy's 300 f/4L IS near MFD.

Great set...but when I scrolled down...#4 scared the hell out of me. Beautiful detail on these birds!
Yeah, even when I was taking the picture I didn't quite realize how hideous these birds are. Mind you, they're feathers and gorgeous, but their heads...yikes!

Great series, what variety.
The Inca tern is awesome looking.
I'm going with Sanderling on #5.
Thanks for the comments! That Inca Tern oddly landed too close to me so I actually had to back away to the take the shot. Zoo birds can be quite friendly apparently. As far as the beach bird, it COULD be although Sanderlings usually hang out here in the winter time, where as this pic was taken in very late spring/early summer, but who knows, it could be a straggler.
