Was fortunate enough to head to the Wave the other day. Woke up extremely sick the morning I got to go so thinking creatively wasn't quite working for me. This is straight out of the camera, no post processing. How'd I do otherwise?

The Wave looks good, not so sure about the sky. A wider angle would have been nice, too.

Now I know how to do it.

1. Get sick.

2. Take great photos.

Lol! Hope you feel better quickly. I think it's a great shot, sky et al.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

And what different could I have done with the sky? The sky was exactly that color blue and it was a cloudless day so I decided not to include much of the sky as it would have taken away from the Wave itself. I also couldn't have used much more of a wider angle lens. This was at 17mm on a 5D II; pretty much as wide as you can get.

Nicely done, and no PP, sweet deal man! I like it the way it is too. And if you weren't sick before youtook the shot, you would have been during and after. The lines are crazy!

Great shot. Perfect composition and I like the sky. Maybe it's been over polarised but even so the contrast between the blue and red is striking.
