Nice catch. You have to be fast to get a shot of these guys. Usually all I see are their tails going behind a far bush. :)

I've never gotten a shot of a quail...quick movers and skittish down in Arizona. They must know they taste good...heh..heh.

although they live in my yard they are not the easiest to get a shot of. ;)

i was happy as you can see they were on the move when i captured these

First one is a real cracker Terry.

We have reasonably good numbers here in Marlborough (there is a four month game bird season with a daily limit bag of 10 birds/person) so I've had several oppurtunities on these guys and only really succeeded once. You done good !!!
