Sometimes I mix my Novatron M300 studio lights and 580EX in the studio. The light color seems off when they are all firing. I use the M300's on the white background and the 580 on-camera, as a flash and also to trigger the other lights.

How should I gel the 580 to make it blend in better with the M300's?

I read a gel page on strobist but I'm not sure which gel to use. Yellow? Green?

Thanks for any help :)

Speedlights often are a touch cooler than studio lights. I gel my speedlight with a permanent CTO 1/8, sometimes bump that to CTO 1/4. I find that a touch warmer looks nicer for portraits.
