Although, this lens is best at portrait shot, it isn't that bad to shoot wildlife afterall. I don't know if I will ever depart this lens... What other people have been commenting on this lens is very true:"85mm 1.8 is an L lens, but without an L price and label." This image was taken at 6PM when the sun was setting, so the light was a little bit dark.

Method: Lens: 85mm 1/.8, 1/3, f/2.5, iso at 100, with a tripod, no pp work done, only added name to the photo.
I wanted the picture to be smooth, so I left it at 100 ISO. To compensate the lost of light, I slowed down my shutter speed to 1/3. It is amazing to capture photos with a tripod as I can always use shutter speed for ISO to be as low as possible.

I would love to hear critics and comments!

I'm at a loss as to what is supposed to be in focus. I've learned that certain plants/flowers/colors look OOF even when they aren't. It could have done with more DOF, imho.

Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.

I don't think this particular shot shows off the amazing qualities of that lens.

It's hard to pinpoint what the focus of this shot is and dare I say, it looks underexposed.

I think I might know why. I set one focus point in the middle and forgot to set it back to normal. I wanted the picture to look as if it was in the "not so bright environment as I was." Though it was late afternoon, but the lighting was similar to 5:30 AM.
