Just some random wildlife shots. We went in August.

Arctic Ground Squirrel. He stole some cereal bar right out of my son's hand.

A bull moose. He was pretty far away, down in a shady valley. Not as good of a shot as I'd have liked, but the best I could get at the time.

A couple of whitetail bucks.

i would like to see tighter crops on the larger animals. however, the exposures in 1, 3, and 4 look good. 2 looks a little flat, to me. and, that is likely a factor of being in the dark valley.

Straightening...lol. Every time I straighten the horizon, I hang the picture crooked.

Good shots. I've learned that you can't always get the shot you'd like, so we keep trying but enjoy what we get.

Very true! Those deer photos are of pretty decent whitetail bucks are I think they are good, although cropping some could help.

Nice series but does anyone else see a slightly purple moose?

(Maybe it's calibration time here...)
