I want to sell my camera and computer for a much more advanced equipment.

I had my Rebel XT for a long time and wanted to "jump ship" over Nikon (great AF for low light shoot in club, restaurants, etc...).

Anyway, now with the Canon 7D on deck, I would stay if all is true as printed, stated, and view on youtube about this camera.

So, here it is....

Do you think I could get $ 289 for my Canon Rebel XT 8.0 megapixel? I don't have the box and maybe I should throw in a manual (used if possible from Barnes and Noble)??

I have all the equipment, strap, lens, etc... Also, I could put this money towards the new camera (if possible)...

As for my computer, its the white Macbook! Great condition as well... still under warranty and I want $ 375. This amount will be applied to the new iMac I would like to get!

So, tell me what you will pay for these items? Am I too high or way too low!

Target market: Kids who wants to start shooting! I'll offer a 20 minute class on the camera.

I checked B&H and they are now selling used Canon rebel xt for $ 309!

I could go down a little....

I'd say probably somewhere between $200-$250 on the XT as it's a fairly old body. With regards to the Macbook. What are the specs? Still under the original 1 year warranty, or under Applecare? $375 could be a little low for a decent condition Macbook.

I've got a XT + kit lens for sale on craigslist for $445 and it's getting responses. It's not sold yet, but I'm confident I won't have to come down below $400.

Just a thought here if you can't sell your Rebel XT call the Canon Loyalty Program. I just called them and the prices right now and I believe the XT is on the list of cameras available for trade in though I wouldn't post prices because it is per canon and I'm not a canon representative. About the macbook your system specifications should give you a good field of prices as far as Processor, size and battery life goes.

Best of luck!

With regards to the xt...it depends where you market it. If it's on Craigslist..you'll find a sucker that's willing to pay your price if not, close to it....eventually. Here on POTN...doubt you'll get that price since there's no box. Not too long ago I purchased a Rebel XT package from someone on here for $410. It came with a bunch of stuff as well as a 28-135mm with some very minor scuff marks on the front element. It was suppose to be for my girlfriend but that didn't happen. So I posted on Craigslist and it sold for $550 locally.
