Tokina 12-24mm f4 at-x pro dx lens for canon

Hi Does anyone know why there is dx and dx II version of this lens and what the difference is? Thank you,

The version II of the lens had a different coating that supposedly reduced flare.

improved with the introduction of new multi-coating_ system. The new multi-coating helps reduce reflections that can cause flare and ghosting even more than in the AT-X 124 PRO DX.
