Kinda funny to labeling this as wildlife, when it's right from your patio, but well... it ain't my pet just yet! :lol:

I keep trying to shoot those little, quick guys, the hawkmoth, but it prefers to tease me as opposed to lining up with my observed patterns it only follows until I try to get it. Oh joy...

All the while I'm trying to learn how to wield my 500D. It's a process...

Anyway, here are two of my best accidents:

Thanks, sure!
Photoshop
- make a box selection of what you want to keep
- invert the selection
- brighten it (I used curves and simply lifted up the black (0))
- gaussian blur to your content
- white 1 point stroke around selection (shortcut order: alt+e (opens edit), s (stroke selection))

Voila! ;)
