I am confused as to why glamour should be combined with the nude section. Is there some sort of prerequisite that glamour photography be nude or semi-nude? I thought you can take glamour photos with fully clothed models? Does this mean you're prohibited from posting all glamour photos in the people photo-sharing section (fully clothed, of course)? It would seem to me that semi-nude/nude should be it's own section as by that definition, you could have the semi-nude/nude glamour shots there and the clothed glamour shots in the people section. Please comment. Thanks!

If it's a glamour photo containing any nudity or parts of it then it belongs to G&N forum. Else you can choose the location by content , G&N, People, Weddings, Urban, wherever that photo fits.

I had it removed from my list (doesn't even show up) thanks to the kind moderators.

But I agree. Nude should be a completely separate forum. Pictures of women in bathing suits are not the same as nude and nowhere close.

Just my two cents.

Thank you. bw!

I am curious why did you have to have it removed simply ignoring it would have been sufficient. There is nothing wrong with the human body

Some people allow their family/children to view POTN while they are logged in. Also, other people prefer not to see the photos (or even provocative thread titles) for religious or moral reasons.

The intention of this thread wasn't to discussion if there should or should not be a "nude/semi-nude" section, but to find out why it should be paired with "glamor". I believe that glamor photography is a style, similar to how photojournalism is a style, where as nude is a description of the subject being photographed, similar to how we have the forums for sports, wedding, people, wildlife because that is the subject of the photograph. I wanted to better understand Pekka's definition of glamor and why it was associated with the nude section. Unless he's saying that nude photos by default are glamorous? :-P

I have it blocked for family reasons. This computer is used by everyone.

I have no problem with nude photography myself.

But, yes, I think they should be separated because shooting people in swimwear is not the same as nude.

And glamour is more about makeup and lighting.

Thank you. bw!
