So I didn't start out trying to shoot flying insects on flowers yesterday, but the little dudes just keep flying into my frames, so I changed things up a bit.
Also, the digital artifacts around the edges of the pedals were not there until I uploaded them to PhotoBucket. They aren't there when I look at them off of my harddrive.
1. Mr Wasp, "Are you Lookin' at Me?"
2 "Umm, tower, this is Wasp 149, I'm coming in for a landing."
3 These insects are hard to predict, and even harder to follow focus.
4 These guys were getting the nectar from the base of these flowers.
5 And then just a cool flower shot, finally with nothing flying around them!
If anyone knows any techniques for nailing focus on these little flyers, now would be a great chance to speak up!
Thanks for looking.
