Just for fun, I was playing around with the trade in calculator on bestbuy.com and was shocked when using the specs based on my 5dmk2, I ended up with $2,745.00 as a trade in value... which is more than I paid for it a year ago!

Granted, I suppose this is an "estimate" and I think you are tied to a best buy gift card, but... damn!

(the specs I used are below)

Trade-In Estimate
SLR, Professional Canon 20.0 Megapixels and Above Megapixel
CAMERA CONDITION: EXCELLENT - LIKE NEW
THROUGH-THE-LENS VIEWFINDER: YES
LENS INCLUDED: NO LENS - BODY ONLY
EXTRA LENSES: NO ADDITIONAL LENSES
MEMORY (MB) MEDIA INCLUDED WITH CAMERA: LESS THAN 8MB
FLASH: NO FLASH
IN THE ORIGINAL RETAIL BOX: YES
ORIGINAL SOFTWARE INCLUDED: YES
BATTERY TYPE: USES A RECHARGABLE BATTERY - INCLUDED
ORIGINAL CABLES OR DOCK: INCLUDED
AC ADAPTER / CHARGER: INCLUDED
INSTRUCTIONS / OWNERS MANUAL: INCLUDED
Estimated Trade-in Value
(includes a Prepaid shipping label) $2,745.00

Have more of the same Item and Condition?
