Things change quickly here in Minnesota. These will be gone in a matter of days.

Yes,this morning definitely has that fall chill in the air.

#1 and #3 were shot with my old 28-105, #2 with the 24-105L f/4. Camera was my 30D

Thanks chopper!I was really surprised to see a couple yesterday morning. They might have been fooled by our unseasonably warm last 2 weeks. Things changed this morning so they're probably hightailing it out of here now.

Number 2 is really special! And the plant that monarch is on is a hybridized version of the famous Milkweed plant that Monarchs are so attracted to. I've planted lots of that in my backyard in hopes of seeing a few land on them. You're lucky to be along the Monarch Milkweed Highway! Good shooting.
