That is one strange game.... something like field hockey but the players actually play the ball with their hands and swing like a bat? I'm sure it's probably got a 200+ year history though?

Great shots Dessie. No 1 isn't a goal unless the ball travelled further than you have it in that shot. 3 and 5 would be my favorites

great lense very very quick just find fixed length a problem keep cutting heads and feet off and when the sport comes too close. With the 70.200 you can move out and in with the action but hey its a great problem to have:p

I have big trouble trying to explain cricket to the French,Hurling?,wouldn't know where to start:confused:.As for the 300,about the only way you could keep shooting when the action gets close is to shoot in portrait (vertical).Good shots btw;)

Looks like fun to me, nice shots too. What are the rules about beating the snot of the other players with those clubs?

And how are you guys re-sizing images like this to post. Mine always look like crap when I make them the size to fit on here. I usually end up having to save them on 5 or 6 jpg quality just to get them under 150K, whats the secret? And how do you get more than two in the same post??

I read the title and didn't figure we had made a sport out of vomiting (but had to check).

Great shots of what looks like one tough sport.
