These birds, Currawongs, Magpies and Butcherbirds are all from the same family, characterised by those whopping great beaks. I took these photos within about 2 minutes, all on the same fence post.
First is a juvenile Pied Currawong

then a male White backed Magpie, he recently lost his mate, she was looking ill for a long time and now I dont see her any more.

the Grey Butcherbird, this is the male

and lastly his little wifey.
"they've eaten it all :( "

I don't know what advice I could give -- they seem to be spot on, gorgeous backgrounds, nicely composed.

Minced bunny, I buy it just for them, although I dont give them much, I dont want them to become dependent on me feeding them.

:( For some reason I'm really bummed about him losing his mate. That sucks!

I was too, she was the bolder of the two and would come quite close to me. I saw her getting sicker and I tried to make sure she could feed as it seemed such an effort for her to come when I called. But after a while she just stopped coming.:( If I thought I could've caught her I would've, and then taken her to the vet or wildlife carer.

Very nice shots but that magpie is simply georgeous! If you get a chance, please post more of him from different views so we can see all of him.
