saving raw files

is thier a way to save CR2 files to a cd? or do I have to convert everything first? I am getting an "is not a valid Win32 application" errer message.

I am not sure about your error, but you should be able to store RAW files on a CD just like any format. You shouldn't have to convert it to another type of file, unless you use some non-destructive editing program (Adobe Lightroom, etc.) to edit and your changes are not saved to the RAW file itself.

I've burned my RAW files to a DVD for back-up. Never had an issue with it before.
