Never Posted Kid Photos Before

Here is my god daughter and her best friend. I took this photo while visiting my family last weekend. Tell me what you think. I rarely do people photography so any editting tps would be great.

What I know about editing would fit on the head of a pin but I can tell you that the kids are cute.

great pic. i like this better in black and white. sharpened a little, boosted contrast. it shows the closeness of the two girls better i think.

I tried switching it to BW myself but the results weren't as good as yours. I ended up with lots of artifacts and the hair looked terrible. Any suggestions?

BTW, I think pbase added some saturation to my photo. The version I bring up from my hard drive isn't as red. I did a color print last night and it came out looking really nice.

do you have photoshop? if you do, you can download an action i just ran on it.

I have photoshop elements 2.0. Not sure if that will work.

very nice shot, I too like the b&w version better.
