I have a 5D classic and from what I've read, this can wreak havoc with adapted lenses.

But I've also read that with focal lengths above 100mm, this is not a problem. Can anyone confirm this?

I'm thinking of something along the lines of the lens listed in the ebay auction below

thanks in advance for your help

Yes, you can use many, many MF lenses. The link is to a less than average one, and I am being kind. Send me a PM after you look at my gear list. Yes, not all will work on a 5D. Example: the EF mount Rokkor 58/1.2 I am selling on eBay right now. Some people will have their 5D mirror shaved just to use this lens though.
