Finally, a nice day to shoot with my new 300!! Took me to halftime to actually get any sort of idea, but I realized I love this lens!! All shot were with a 300 & 1.4 extender unless noted. All photos "as shot," except some have been cropped and "saved for web - as sharp"

1) My favorite shot! I just love the #1 plus the coach in the background all bokeh, but you get the idea. Parents look at this and think: awful, out of focus ... I think -- PERFECT!!!

2) Reaching out for the TD ... and he got it!

3) Tackle Missed, and he walk (waltzes) into the endzone, literally.

4) Broke off a nice run here. Whites gave me trouble all day as the clouds moved in and out. Considering a filter next time.

5) Tongue out really scares me, but yet another nice run.

6) This was a great INT, the shots before in the sequence, he was all laid our backwards, but just not snap on sharp enough for me to keep.

7) Breaking away for a TD - if you have noticed yet, each kid has a nice saying on his eye back -- this is "Jersey's finest"
