I'm here to amuse myself, ultimately, and while I've sat here all day with one of the worst Southern California sinus infections I've ever had, I've read the many 7D threads and feel so scrambled by talks of ISO, comparing viewfinder sizes, chrome rings being cheesy, tracking speed for deep sea fish greater than 1 km below the surface, I feel as if I could give birth to the camera right now and it would be perfect. Hee hee! Anyone else feel like not reading any more 7D-specific threads until they come in the mail (for we US users and UK/RoW users who have not yet received theirs), and maybe not even after then?

Perhaps it's the Nyquil that taps these keys with heavy hands, but this feels almost worse than the 40D, 50D, and 5D Mark II!

Keep it in good fun, people. We're allowed to have fun on here without name calling ;)

You know, I don't think that sinus infection is just california, up here in michigan, I thought I had a cold, but it's only lasted for 2 days, and it was REALLY bad, and was told it was sinus's.

"In my lurking here I've noticed Canon's xxD series seem best at capturing house cats, seagulls and grandchildren, whereas the full frame 5D and 5DmkII tend to be better suited toward churches and trees. All Canons seem particularly good at reproducing brick walls and product boxes.
Meanwhile over in the Nikon forums I see a load more mall stalking, readers wives, flowers and wildlife.
"

lolol!

I have to agree. I've overdosed on the 7D threads. But I missed the "Chrome ring" thread! I hope I can find it. It might be enough for me to cancel my order, lol

I'm ready to upgrade my 40D, and use it as my backup, instead of my Digital Rebel. When I'm ready for an upgrade, I would usually wait until the model is in the stores for 4-6 months before buying it but the Bing/Adorama 11% cash back was too good to pass up.

Keep taking the NyQuil. Just don't switch to NIkon

That's fantastic! I am amazed at all the 7D talk. It takes pictures, probably pretty well. If you want it, buy it. If you dont, who cares.
I totally didn't see the silver ring post. But I did see the comparing view finders post. Last time I checked with both my cameras, I looked through the viewfinder and pushed a little button. Did this change?

ROFL. Posting in an epic thread. You gave me a good laugh thank you very much. :) For some reason I can just picture someone laying in bed on a laptop lounging around in their underwear going to the forums while all out of it on cold medicine and being like "wait.. i thought i clicked on this 7d thread already...did i read this already? oh, nevermind it's a new thread...or is it...AHHH."

Yeah, it wasn't a thread, it was a post in an existing thread, and it was a tongue-in-cheek post at that.

You never know what Canon will do next. Afterall, the 50D have a crome exposure mode dial. I think they follow car trends. My AE-1 has a silver top and back then my car had chrome bumpers. :D
