So what do you guys think - 24L II or Zeiss 21?
I kind of like the wider lens but 24L II is pure magic.
Unfortunately a lot of CA when shot wide open...

I see the older 21/2.8 have been dropping in price and are down to that same price point as the new version. But, as soon as some reviews of the newer one come out, that may all change.

ZE 21/2.8 vs EF 24 T/S will be the big decision. Against the 24 L II, I don't think there is much of a battle.

there is a huge advantage of the 24L II - it's a f1.4 lens...

it should

Man, it would be a hard decision between the 21 Distagon and a 24L II for me ;) Those extra 2 stops might be handy..But the Distagon is a -Distagon-

21mm is an odd focal length for me I find. I think something around 17 or 18 would be much more useful, and as such it would really come down to the Canon 17mm T/S or the Zeiss 18mm Distagon.

I know the 21mm Distagon is amazing, but why would you want 21 when you could have 18?

If a 21 is the right lens for the shot, then a 18 will not do. And, vice-versa.

Someone on the FM forums posted a link that hints towards a new Zeiss Distagon 35mm f/[highlight]1.4[/highlight] The text in the link got edited out (possibly due to an NDA).
